These terms cover the valuemydata.ai website and the introductions we make from it. By using the site you agree to them. Where a sentence is written for a business owner, that is who we are talking to; this is a service for companies, not consumers.

1. What ValueMyData does.

We do two things. First, we show you an indicative estimate of what your company's operating records might be worth to buyers that license such records for training AI systems. Second, if you ask us to, we introduce your company to one or more of those buyers. We make introductions; we are not a party to any license, we do not buy, hold, copy or sell your records, and we never see them. Any license is a separate agreement between your company and the buyer.

We are not lawyers, accountants, brokers of securities or financial advisers, and nothing on the site is legal, tax, investment or financial advice. Have your own adviser review any agreement before you sign it.

2. Who may use the site.

You must be at least 18 and using the site on behalf of a company. When you ask for an introduction you confirm that you are entitled to speak for that company and that the answers and contact details you gave are true to the best of your knowledge.

3. The estimate.

The estimate is indicative only. It is built from buyers' published programs, published deals and your own answers. Every buyer prices records only after reading a sample of them, so the figure a buyer offers may be higher, lower or nothing at all. We do not guarantee any offer, any amount or any timeline, and we never send your estimate to a buyer.

4. Introductions.

When you click "Intro me" you ask us to introduce your company to the buyers you ticked on that page, up to three at once. For each one we send your quiz answers and the contact details you entered, and nothing else: no files, no logins, and not the estimate. The buyers' names are shown to you before you click, and nothing is sent to anyone until you do.

Each buyer runs its own process. Some reply to you by email; some require your company to register or apply on the buyer's own site through the link we give you. Where that is the case we say so on the page before you click, and the introduction to that buyer exists only once you apply. Each buyer reviews a sample and makes its own offer; most licenses are exclusive, so you will usually choose one buyer at the end.

We may decline or withdraw an introduction, for example if a buyer closes its program or if the information you gave turns out to be wrong.

5. How we are paid.

If a buyer we introduced you to signs a license with your company, that buyer pays us a referral fee under our agreement with the buyer. The amount depends on the buyer: a fixed sum, a percentage of the license value, or both. You pay us nothing, now or later, unless you and we sign a separate written agreement that says otherwise. The fee does not change the estimate you see, and we never send the estimate to a buyer.

We may share part of our fee with a referral partner who introduced you to us. That partner sees only your company's name and the stage of the process, never your answers or your contact details.

6. Your acknowledgement of the introduction.

You agree that your introduction to each buyer you ticked came from ValueMyData. If a buyer asks who referred you, you will say ValueMyData.ai. For 12 months after the introduction you will not ask that buyer to record someone else as the source of the referral, and you will not use our introduction to obtain a license through a different introducer. Nothing here stops you from declining an offer, negotiating freely, or working with any buyer we did not introduce.

7. Withdrawing.

You may withdraw an introduction request at any time before you sign with the buyer, by replying to any email from us. We then stop, and if the introduction has already been sent we tell the buyer that you withdrew.

8. What you must keep out.

Records your company holds for clients under contract, records covered by professional privilege, regulated data such as patient or financial-account information, and anything you are not entitled to license must not be offered to a buyer. The buyers' own agreements say the same. If in doubt, leave it out and ask your lawyer.

9. Email from us.

We email you about your request, your result when you ask for it, one reminder if a buyer is waiting on your application, and occasional notes about buyers' programs if you asked for them. Reply STOP to any email and we stop everything except messages needed to complete a request you have already made. We do not call or text you.

10. Using the site.

You may not submit information about a company you are not entitled to represent, send automated or bulk submissions, scrape the site, or misrepresent who you are. The site, its text, its quiz and its scoring method belong to us.

11. No warranty; limits on our liability.

The site and the introductions are provided as they are. We make no promise that the site will be error-free, that a buyer will respond, or that any license will be signed. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, consequential or lost-profit damages arising from the site or an introduction, and our total liability to you for anything arising from these terms is limited to $100. These limits do not apply to anything the law does not allow us to limit.

12. Your indemnity.

If a claim is made against us because you were not entitled to represent the company, because information you gave was false, or because records you offered were ones you had no right to license, you will reimburse us for the loss and the reasonable cost of dealing with the claim.

13. Law and disputes.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. If we have a disagreement, each of us will first tell the other in writing and we will try for 30 days to resolve it. If that fails, the state and federal courts located in Texas have exclusive jurisdiction.

14. Changes and contact.

This policy says what we collect on valuemydata.ai, when, who receives it and what you can do about it. The short version: the quiz asks about your company, not about you; we ask for your contact details only when you want something from us; and the only people who receive those details are the buyers you ask us to introduce you to.

We never collect your files, your logins, your customers' names, or anything from inside your tools. The quiz asks about them; it never connects to them.

2. Cookies and your browser.

Your quiz answers and result are saved in your own browser so you can come back to them; clearing your browser's site data removes them. If you arrive through a referral partner's link we set one cookie for 90 days that records the partner code. Our hosting provider sets a short-lived security cookie to tell people from automated traffic, and our bot check (Cloudflare Turnstile) runs when you submit a form. Our visit statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) use no cookies and do not identify you. We use no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers.

3. How we use it.

To show your estimate and to let you come back to it.
To introduce your company to the buyers you chose, and to no one else.
To send what you asked for: your result, one reminder if a buyer is waiting on your application, a reply to your question, or news of buyers' programs if you opted in.
To keep a record of what you agreed to, with the wording version and the time.
To understand how the quiz is used, in aggregate, and to keep the site secure.

We do not use your information to advertise to you, and we do not build profiles of individuals.

4. Who receives it.

Buyers you chose. After you click "Intro me", and not before, each buyer you ticked receives your quiz answers and your contact details. They never receive your estimate. Each buyer handles what it receives under its own privacy terms, which it shows you when you deal with it.
Service providers that work for us: Google Workspace (our records and email), Cloudflare (hosting, security, the database) and our email delivery provider. They process data only on our instructions.
A referral partner who introduced you to us sees your company's name and the stage of the process, nothing else, so that we can pay them.
Authorities, if the law requires it, and a successor if the business is sold, under this same policy.

We do not sell personal information. Sharing your details with a buyer happens only at your direction.

5. How long we keep it.

6. Your choices and rights.

Reply to any email from us, or write to the address below, to: stop email (or reply STOP), withdraw an introduction request, correct your details, ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. We answer within 30 days. Deleting a request after an introduction has been sent does not remove what the buyer already received; ask the buyer directly for that.

Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, including the right to know, correct and delete personal information and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.

7. Security.

The site runs over HTTPS. Each request is identified by a long random reference that only you and we hold. Access to our records is limited to the founder and the service providers above. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you if a breach affects you.

8. Children and location.

The site is for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18. Our service providers store data in the United States. If you use the site from outside the United States, your information is transferred there.

9. Changes and contact.
